Call for Papers

EURAU12 invites researchers and professionals from the various disciplinary areas that intervene in the study and transformation of Public Space of the Contemporary City to submit abstracts that fit under the proposed themes.

Architects, anthropologists, artists, designers, engineers, economists, writers, geographers, historians, sociologists, urbanists, among others, will be able to contribute with their specific vision through scientific articles.

The abstracts for acceptance of articles must be exclusively submitted online (see Abstract Submission) until February 15th. The abstracts must be submitted in English, specify the theme that they apply to and have a 600 words limit.

The papers will be assessed by international teams, constituted by members of the Scientific Committee, who will decide on the acceptance and format of the proposals.

The authors of accepted abstracts will be informed of the format of their participation: scientific article, poster or both. The guidelines for the preparation of the articles and posters can be consulted in adequate location (see Article Submission). Scientific articles will have a 3.500 words maximum and the posters must comply with a vertical A1 format. Both can be written in any of the three official languages (English, French or Portuguese).

After the conditions of acceptance are communicated to the authors, articles and posters should be sent to, within the established calendar dates.

All abstracts selected by the Scientific Committee will be presented in the scheduled sessions (see Program) and the set of papers and posters will be gathered and displayed in an exhibition integrated in the Symposium Program.
